Norterra is a broad regional partnership committed to leading the high-tech sector in northeastern Israel, serving as a center of knowledge and services for the northern high-tech community, and attracting leading technology companies to our area of activity — while strengthening human capital and fostering cross-regional synergy.
The company was born out of years of significant activity in northern Israel in the fields of innovation, research, industry, and academia. It is a joint venture of the Kinneret Innovation Center in the Jordan Valley, the Shamir Research Institute in the Golan Heights, and Invalley in the Beit She’an and Jezreel Valleys, together with dozens of leading Israeli companies and academic institutions, and with the support of the Israel Innovation Authority, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry for the Development of the Negev and Galilee, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
All these partners have joined forces with one shared goal – to leverage and advance the high-tech ecosystem in northeastern Israel.
